The short version. Casturi uses only the cookies it needs to sign you in, keep your account secure and remember your choices. We don't use advertising or analytics cookies, and we don't let other companies track you on Casturi.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Local storage is a similar browser feature that keeps information on your device. This policy covers both, and explains how Casturi AI uses them on casturiai.com, in Casturi Chat and on our other web pages.
2. The cookies we use
All of these are strictly necessary. The Services can't work properly without them, so the law doesn't require your consent for them. They're first-party: set by Casturi, readable only by Casturi, and never used for advertising.

Local storage
Casturi Chat keeps interface settings on your device, such as theme, sidebar layout, the model and agent you last used, and unsent drafts, so the app opens the way you left it. This information stays in your browser. We don't use it to identify or track you.
Google sign-in
If you choose to sign in with Google, you're sent to Google, which may set its own cookies on its own domains under Google's privacy policy. Casturi doesn't read those cookies.
3. Optional cookies
We don't use analytics or marketing cookies today. The cookie notice includes these categories so that, if we ever add them, they stay switched off unless you turn them on. Before adding any, we'll update this policy, name the providers, and ask you again.
- Analytics would help us understand how the Services are used so we can improve them.
- Marketing would measure or personalise advertising. Under some US state laws, this can count as selling or sharing personal information.
4. Your choices
- Cookie settings: accept, reject or choose categories at any time with , which is linked at the bottom of every page. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it, and applies from that moment.
- Global Privacy Control: if your browser sends a GPC signal, we treat it as an opt-out of sale and sharing, and marketing cookies stay off.
- Your browser: you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block the strictly necessary cookies, you won't be able to sign in.
We show the same choices to everyone, wherever you are. This meets the consent rules in the EU and EEA (GDPR and the ePrivacy Directive), the UK (UK GDPR and PECR), India (Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023), the notice and opt-out rules of US state privacy laws, and Australia's Privacy Act 1988.
5. Changes
We'll update this page when the cookies we use change, and ask for your choices again if we add a category that needs consent.
